Website Accessibility

This policy (version 1.0.0) was updated on 20/03/2018.

Distribution Technology is committed to developing sites that are as accessible as possible, regardless of the personal circumstances of our users. We do this by:

Designing and developing to WCAG 2.0 level AA

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 level AA provide our reference standard for accessibility. Specific accessibility checks are performed as part of our design and testing process.

Developing content that is easy to read and understand

To enable more people to engage with financial advice, we design our content to be easy to read and understand. For particularly important content we go further, for example our risk profile descriptions have received accreditation from the Plain English Campaign.

Developing and testing for the most popular devices and browsers

With the huge range of devices and browsers available, it would not be possible to test on all possible combinations of devices and browsers. We use analytics to understand how people are accessing our websites, and test against the most popular devices and browsers. While our websites will not look the same on all platforms, our goal is to deliver a good experience however they are accessed.
